Twitch streamer Emiru received major backlash from her fans after she refused to comment on ICE's actions because she doesn't talk about politics. Fans noted that what ICE has been doing is not very political, but rather a basic human and moral issue that shouldn't be considered "controversial" or "political".
Many streamers have come out and talked about what has been happening, such as MoistCritikal and Cinna, amongst others. Many fans find her attempts at acting uneducated or helpless to be infuriating.
She's quite old, pushing almost 30, pretending that she has no responsibility for anything at all, and that her influence or anything has no matter. But of course we know that the Trump administration slowed down on its brazenness after the backlash from their actions with ICE in Minneapolis, proving that public opinion is very important. Also, the marginal voter now is the normies, active in politics democrats can no longer be the swing voters in elections.
