Elytra - a remarkable set of high-strength, lightweight wings that both protect the body and facilitate flight.

In creating Elytra, Paul Dooley was inspired by the impressive F/A-18F Super Hornets and F-14 Tomcats and nature’s aviators; fireflies, ladybugs, and beetles.
