This was not fun. Not at all. It took days of non-stop attempts to recreate this old fight I've watched on YouTube (youtu.be/47VX-t7sgEw). Not counting the required time to craft and perfect the needed personas shown here. 14 turns only to kill Elizabeth.
Speaking of personas, A friend noticed that the personas in that old video have personas that are highly unlikely to be done with legitimate fusions. With skills that are not innate exceeding 5 slots (All personas in the series can only have 5 skills fused in using fusion only apart from Orpheus Telos in FES/P3P due to the games not allowing innate skills being removed while fusing. And skill cards/sacrifice fusion that adds a new skill doesn't exist in the more modern games until P3P and P5 respectively). Of course, mutations can remedy this problem but the abundant amount of personas that have these discrepancies and the way the skills are arranged in the personas shown has lead us to believe that the personas are modded in some shape or form. That or I am a complete novice in terms of fusion compared to the person playing in this old video.
So, this video is more of a practical demonstration that it is indeed possible with legitimate personas (All of these personas would align with the limitations the original P3 and FES has in terms of fusion. Without any mutations being employed). Furthermore, it can also be shown that nearing the end of the fight, I could have won immediately if Garuda had a High Counter proc on the second turn. Showing that 13 turns is a possibility.
As per usual, personas and equipment shown at the end. Wonder if this fight would be changed in Reload in some form.
