Ten-time CrossFit Games athlete Kara Saunders was the first to set the Snatch Ladder record at the 2016 Pacific Regional, with a time of 5:29.82.
Eight years later, Italy’s Elisa Fuliano broke that record by over 20 seconds, setting a new time of 5:01.24. Not only did she break a world record, but this event win bumped her from 12th place into a Games-qualifying spot.
Fuliano's record held until Week 2, when 18-year-old Olivia Kerstetter set a new one with a time of 3:58.36.
Fuliano finished the competition in eighth place overall, qualifying for her third CrossFit Games.
