🎨 What Are the Elements of Art?

The Elements of Art are the building blocks for any kind of artwork. Whether you're into landscapes, still life, portraits or abstracts, you'll use a combination of different elements to create your pieces.

🌟 Today, we’re diving into Space.

Space as an element of art refers to the area within, in-between or around objects in a composition.

Positive Space: The areas occupied by the main subjects or objects in the artwork.

Negative Space: The empty or open areas around and between the subjects.

Artists manipulate space to create depth and balance in their work.

Techniques like overlapping, size variation, atmospheric and linear perspective, and others can help convey a sense of three-dimensionality and believable depth.

This reel is part one of my new series, where I’ll break down all 7 Elements of Art:
✅ Line
✅ Shape
✅ Color
✅ Texture
✅ Form
✅ Value
✅ Space

✨ Stay tuned for the next episodes to deepen your understanding and improve the quality of your artwork.
