It’s that time of year again as exhibitors, speakers, and attendees ramp up planning for the biennial trade show that has been held in Munich for 62 years: electronica 2026. The event takes place Nov. 10–13 at Messe München, and this year’s theme centers on the electronics—chips, systems, and components—powering the all-electric society.
What does that mean exactly?
We spoke directly to the exhibition’s executive team in a video interview to expand more on the theme, why they chose that theme, and what visitors can expect, from the exhibition floor to the conference program, including AspenCore’s own forums on embedded systems, power electronics, and chiplets.
In the interview, Caroline Pannier, exhibition director for electronica, and Marvin Buchet, deputy exhibition director for electronica, discussed this year’s theme, the event’s history, its growth over the years, and why it has become a key event on the global electronics industry calendar.
