An older video but Ruby was just too cute not to share. It is neat how often mice who were flighty all their lives, will suddenly become very trusting and needy in old age. Basically it shows that mice like Ruby were never really afraid of us humans, just independent and wanting to be left alone. But once old age and infirmity creeps up on them, they seek you out for comfort. It is like they know that you are there to help. Ruby was the sweetest thing in the last few weeks of her life, always asking for attention and treats. Heinz rice based baby porridge is a wonderful, tasty food for elderly and sickly mice.
