Previously in the Wizards and Warriors documentary series on the lore of the Elder Scrolls world, we talked about the rise and decline of the Septim Empire, as we will talk about the history of the world, the creation of the empire by Talos Stormcrown, the invasion of Akavir by emperor Uriel, as well as the Oblivion Crisis and the Great War between the elves and the men (youtu.be/PTmpl437Gf0). The Elder Scrolls universe is one of the richest and most expansive fantasy settings ever created, filled with ancient myths, shifting powers, and diverse cultures that span the continent of Tamriel. From the earliest days of the Merethic Era to the struggles of the Fourth Age, countless civilizations have risen and fallen, leaving behind legends, ruins, and living traditions that shape the modern world. At the heart of this saga are the ten playable races—Imperials, Nords, Bretons, Redguards, Altmer, Dunmer, Bosmer, Orsimer, Argonians, and Khajiit—each with their own histories, religions, and ways of life. Together, they embody the interplay of Man, Mer, and Beastfolk, with rivalries, alliances, and philosophies that reveal the soul of Tamriel. This anthology provides an overview of each people, tracing their mythic origins, cultural values, and roles in the great dramas of empire, war, and survival.
