There's been a lot of talk about Shadow of the Erdtree's difficulty and while I do air more on the negative side in this review; there's no way I can call this DLC anything other than totally worth the price of admission. Shadow of the Erdtree is one of the most complete and jampacked DLCs in recent memory, rivaled only by Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion when it comes to games I've played. In this lengthy look, I share my thoughts on world design, exploration, boss design, scadutree fragment progression, and a bit on story and presentation. Enjoy!
