🎙 EKOLOŠKA SOLIDARNOST - „The Soil / Ziemia / Zemlja“, režija Zuzana Solakjevič

Kao što se navodi u promotivnim materijalima filma, „The Soil“ je feministički dokumentarni mjuzikl koji nas iznenađuje svežim pristupom temi života žena u ruralnim područjima. U intervjuu sa rediteljkom Zuzanom Solakjevič, razgovaramo o kontinuitetu tradicije i njenom značaju danas, o takozvanom „folk zaokretu“ u kulturi i šire, diskutujemo o terapeutskoj ulozi tradicionalnih pesama i razmatramo svakodnevni život žena na selu nekada i danas, kao i širi društveni kontekst. Rediteljku pitamo i o njenim ličnim iskustvima kao osobe koja je mnogo godina živela u poljskom selu. Ideja solidarnosti ovde odjekuje na mnogim nivoima - ne samo kao solidarnost prethodnih generacija sa prirodom već i kao čin stvaranja zajednice, osećaja sigurnosti koji se gradi kroz pripadnost tradiciji i prilagođavanje svakodnevnih aktivnosti večnom ritmu prirode. Diskutujemo i o liku Eve Grohovske, protagonistkinje filma, pevačice koja služi kao vodič kroz svet tradicije, i to ne samo muzičke.

🎥 Celuloidna solidarnost: Savremeni poljski reditelji i rediteljke o jedinstvu u svojim filmovima.

Ovaj podkast serijal deo je projekta Solidarnost na ekranu - Filmski pregled poljskog predsedavanja Savetom Evropske unije, posvećenog promociji poljskih filmova na temu solidarnosti i njihovih autora.

Celuloidna solidarnost sastoji se od 5 epizoda - narativnih monologa nastalih na osnovu temeljnih intervjua sa najzanimljivijim rediteljima sa spiska filmova programa Solidarnost na ekranu.

Intervjuisani filmski stvaraoci spadaju među najvažnije savremene poljske reditelje, prepoznate i nagrađivane na brojnim filmskim festivalima.

U razgovorima, govore o svojim metodama, filmovima i o tome šta za njih znači solidarnost. Uvode potpisuje Nikola Radić - istaknuti srpski filmski kritičar, esejista, književnik i prevodilac. Njegovi komentari pomažu da se razume kontekst nastanka svakog filma i skreću pažnju na one kvalitete filmova koji su relevantni i gledaocima van Poljske.

Podkast je nastao pod pokroviteljstvom Instituta Adam Mickjevič u okviru kulturnog programa poljskog predsedavanja Savetom Evropske unije 2025. godine.

As we read in the film's promotional materials, ‘The Soil’ is a feminist documentary musical that surprises us with a fresh approach to the subject of women living in the rural areas'. In an interview with director Zuzanna Solakiewicz, we ask about the continuity of tradition and its value today, about the so-called ‘folk turn’ in culture and beyond, we discuss the therapeutic role of traditional song, and we inquire about the everyday life of women in the countryside in the past and present and about the social context. We are also interested in the director's view of her personal experiences from the perspective of someone who has lived in the Polish countryside for many years. The idea of solidarity resonates here on many levels - not only as the solidarity with the natural environment, implemented by previous generations, but also as the act of creating a community, a sense of security built through belonging to tradition and shaping everyday activities around the eternal rhythm of nature. We also discuss the character of Ewa Grochowska, the protagonist of the film, a singer who becomes a guide through the world of traditions, not only musical ones.

🎥 Celluloid Solidarity: Contemporary Polish Filmmakers on Unity in their Work.

The podcast series is part of the project Solidarity on Screen - Polish Presidency Film Review, dedicated to the promotion of Polish films with a solidarity theme and their creators.

Celluloid Solidarity consists of 5 podcasts - narrative monologues created on the basis of in-depth interviews with the most interesting directors from the list of films of the Solidarity on Screen program.

The invited filmmakers are among the most important contemporary Polish filmmakers, recognized and awarded at numerous film festivals. In interviews, the filmmakers had the opportunity to talk about their working methods, their films and what solidarity means to them.

The announcer of the program is Nikola Radić - a prominent Serbian film critic, essayist, author, and translator. The statements of the protagonists are accompanied by his commentary, allowing a better understanding of the context of the creation of the work and drawing attention to the qualities of the films, relevant from the point of view of a non-Polish viewer.

The podcast series was created by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the foreign cultural program of the Polish Presidency of the Council in the European Union 2025.
