Whenever I travel, I always like to visit local places where they make various products, so I made a request to my tour company that I visit an alabaster factory in Egypt. This one is called Luxor Stone's Gallery, and it's located in the Luxor area. After my guide Nour, who is an Egyptologist, gave me the background of why and how these artisans are here, I was given a demonstration on how they made alabaster products, and then was given a tour of their large showroom. I found the tour to be very interesting and I was very happy to have experienced it.
