The demoscene is a very fascinating - and very geeky - subculture. I visited the Edison 2025 demoparty to see why people spend countless hours producing art, music and demos for ancient computers like the Commodore 64 and the Amiga.

This video is a quick summary from the first day, Friday July 18. It was also submitted as an entry to the event itself, in the Animation & Video category, to give participants a bit of a feel-good look at Edison while attending the Saturday event.
