I decided to look for the geekiest place in all of Gran Canaria, and I think that this arcade in Meloneras fits the bill.
Granted, there are a few geek stores as well on the island, but here you can try everything from Space Invaders Frenzy to Jurassic Park to The Walking Dead. You can also play pinball games, racing games (like Cruising Blast), play air hockey or Pong or try your luck at crane machines - and a lot more.
Now, I can't say that this is an impressive arcade. It really was a bit of a disappointment compared to, arcades in Sweden or the Netherlands - but beggars can't be choosers, and when I'm on vacation I take what I can get.
