This track was inspired by the feelings of grief and sadness from the loss of family members both recently and in the past. The echoes of those farewells echo through our lives, and have an ebb and flow as they reflect off the events of our lives, and are amplified when their ripples intersect with the ripples from other farewell.
These echoes can shape us in unexpected ways and at unexpected times and can, if you catch it in the right way, remind you of the good times.
Process Notes:
I used a couple of instances of Abyss to create a dynamic sound bed, and added a couple of instances of Cube to provide movement. I then layered two instances of Pigments as rhythmic accents, with Playbeat providing the beat.
