This project was inspired by our August Digital Pack. This month we're channeling the desert, and as I was creating the August Digital Pack projects, I found myself being heavy and thick with my paints and techniques. Whenever I find myself pushing a project really hard with layers and techniques or overworking my paintings, I give myself the opportunity to go back to the basics. For this project I wanted to create something that would celebrate vibrant, loose, light washes and really let the watercolor shine.
