Let's chat through my process for taking a painting and turning it into a night scene. We painted a version of this really utilizing the white of the paper, and while doing that version I just couldn't help but wonder how beautiful it would be at night. My hope is that after this project you'll feel confident looking at a scene and seeing how the light is affecting the values, and then be able to turn any painting into a night scene. So let's dive in and bring to life the night version of our Snowed In project.

Paint: Daniel Smith - Quinacridone Coral, Quinacridone Gold, Undersea Green, Indigo, Phthalo Blue (Green Shade), Lamp Black; Dr. PH Martin's Bleed Proof White
Brushes: Round 2, 6, 12, Liner 4
Holbein Soft Tape, Heat It Craft Tool
Watercolor journal or 6x9 watercolor paper
