Morning journal paintings have become a staple in my creative practice. Every weekday morning it's how I start my workday. This daily ritual helps keep my creativity flowing and I have learned over the year that as someone who has to paint a lot for work... implementing habits to keep creativity alive is crucial.
If you're in a bit of a creative rut, looking for inspo, or wanting to try something new I totally recommend trying out daily journal painting. You don't have to paint in the morning like I do, paint whatever time of day works best for. The one piece of advice I would give is to just allow yourself time each day to paint freely.
