August feels like a quiet turning point. We're not quite at the end of the year, no longer at the beginning... tucked in the middle. The craze and fun of the summer is coming to an end and our souls seem to crave opportunities to breathe, and find quiet moments to fuel ourselves.
As I was thinking about the time of year I felt there was no better time for the Projects From My Journal theme than August. A chance for us to collectively slow down, experiment & explore by painting within our journals, and maybe begin a new routine.
I have a journal that I paint in just about every weekday morning. Okay, it is free time for me to play. It is creative. It is how I'm able to keep painting at the pace that I paint. And I love it so very much. And I'm so looking forward to sharing projects from my journal with you!
