FrunoCraft | Easy netherwood+fungus farm: 17.000 stems per hour, tutorial (Java Minecraft 1.16-1.18) @FrunoCraft | Uploaded 2 years ago | Updated 2 hours ago
After I presented different netherwood designs in my last video (youtu.be/Ft_rlwXHG14) I chose to make another one that gives fantastic rates and is yet reasonably simple to build. It will produce about 265 stacks of stems (!) per hour, or ~17.000 items, for just one double chest of bonemeal. Also provides 8.5 stacks of shroomlights per hour.
This video contains a discussion of the design considerations and a block-by-block tutorial. I'll also show how to build a cheap, simple fungus farm to power this wood farm.
Building time is 60-90 minutes in vanilla survival minecraft (plus whatever time you invest to make everything look nice, or to tweak rates).
World download: mediafire.com/file/vobg3zg0x1vaor2/FastNetherwoodFarm.zip/file
Update 06/01/22: Fixed partially broken world download (TNT duper position and nylium regeneration), made cosmetic changes to periphery (global on/off switch, more item filters, added light sources in redstone builds and cobwebs in item transport to reduce lag). Rates are slightly lower in new wdl (15.7k warped logs/h), currently investigating why.
Things I might add to the world download at some point:
* Automatic growth detection, which could increase rates.
* Configure fungus farm to run only if fungus dispenser is empty.
Tested in Java 1.18.2, but should work in 1.16 and 1.17 as well.
0:00 Introduction of the farm
0:56 Description of redstone circuits
5:38 Fungus farm options
8:53 Why this farm?
9:55 Fungus farm build
13:05 Wood farm build
20:35 TNT duper build and tweaks
