This video showcases a magma cream farm that produces about 5800 magma cream per hour (or almost one shulker box of magma blocks). The farm can be modified to produce froglights by modifying the killing chamber. It will produce over 50000 froglights per hour in the configuration shown here, provided that you have enough frogs to kill the small magma cubes.

The farm is significantly faster than 1-dimensional magma cream farms while still being fairly resource friendly (compared to the big magma cream farms using portal spam). It uses portals to move the magma cubes to the overworld where they are killed. We will use sweetberry bushes to kill the magma cubes. Wither roses will kill them even faster, but wither roses are sometimes hard to come by, and I wanted this farm to be really resource friendly so you can even build it in the first days of a new survival server. The magma cream farm uses about 4 stacks of obsidian (you can cut this to under 2 stacks if you are low on obsidian, but you'll get lower rates if you do that), 16 iron blocks to spawn in 4 iron golems, a few rails and very few redstone components. The rest can be just building blocks.
The froglight variant will require a healthy amount of powder snow (about 150 buckets, more or less depending on how big you want the killing chamber to be), a few iron chains and a lot of hoppers and chests. Honey blocks are recommended to reduce the from the frogs, but not strictly necessary. It's possible to integrate both farms by building the nether setup once while using 2 different killing chambers.
However, these farms are portal based. As all portal based farms with hostile mobs they will work perfectly in any singleplayer world. However, if you play with other players on a server then you'll either need to be alone or have a friend load in the killing chamber in the overworld, because the magma cubes would despawn immediately if any other player is in the overworld but further than 128 blocks away.
It took me about 90 minutes to build the magma cream farm (nether side and killing chamber, without resource collection). The additional killing chamber for froglights can be built quickly, but the real effort there is to get all the frogs in place and collect the powder snow.

The mods I use are carpet (to count blocks), minihud (here to generate circles and spawning spheres) and tweakeroo (here for freecam). All these mods have a lot more features and are highly recommended.
