These are super easy baby hats and can be worked up very quick!. great for gifting and for baby showers and for your own baby.
You will need DK yarn lightweight no 3 and 3.5mm crochet for the 0-3 months. Aim for a hat height of 5.5inch approx. and a width of 7 inches across

for 3-6 months use a 3.5mm crochet hook and follow the same pattern. The only thing you need to extra 2 rows of double crochet before the front post and back post double crochet rows. So a total of 7 rows rather than 5. Aim for the hat height at 6 inch approx. and a width of 7.5 across.

For the 6-12 months use a 4mm crochet hook and follow the same pattern as 3-6 months. Aim for hat height of 6.5 inches approx. and a width of 8 inches across.
