I noticed this turtle in my backyard early in the morning. After a few hours I noticed it was still there. I went outside to check on it and she had dug a deep hole. I kept checking on her for several hours. I was surprised I was able to catch her laying a egg. I could only see 3 eggs, there may be more. I left after she laid the egg. Didn’t want to disturb her. We have a barrier around the nest. Hopefully we’ll be able to record the baby turtles digging out.
