I used my 8 QT Ninja Foodi
Perfect low carb meal
2 cups of water
1 spaghetti squash
Butter
Parmesan
Pepper
Pink Salt
Ground venison (I cooked it earlier, after adding sauce I warmed it up in the microwave)
Onions & Garlic (Cooked earlier in the ground venison)
Spaghetti sauce (no sugar added sauce)
Mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni
Pressure cook the spaghetti squash for 15-17 minutes. I washed the squash but did not poke or cut into it. No need worrying about it exploding. Place it into the cooker whole. The size I had, I would go 17 minutes next time since I used the quick release. If you are doing natural release you can cook for less time.
Slice in two, remove seeds. Add butter, Parmesan, salt, pepper, meat, cheese and pepperoni. I used the broil function to melt the cheese around 4 minutes.
This was so delicious and I’d definitely make a few changes. I’d add more sauce, we like a lot of sauce, and I’d cook it a little longer or let it natural release. It was cooked but a few edges weren’t as soft as the rest. The reason I didn’t use the rack with the handles when I melted the cheese on broil, it doesn’t have a flat top. The two pieces wouldn’t fit, definitely won’t use the silicone gloves to remove them next time. May make a foil sling to remove the flat rack I have.
