For several years during the late 1960's, the East Broad Top Railroad in Orbisonia, PA hosted an annual Winter Special. I got over there for one of them, 1968 I think, and shot some 8mm footage which I recently digitized.
Wasn't much snow on the ground that weekend, but boy was it cold! How cold was it? Well it was so cold that our camera batteries would only work for a few minutes. Had to keep to spare sets inside my coat to warm up and rotate them out every few minutes. Sure coulda used my old handwind Kodak that day. Anyway, here is the best of what I got that weekend.
