This is a language learning apps video from The Reykjavik Review. The choices of Duolingo to constantly update and fix things that were working perfectly well have not always gone down well with their users, but could this latest decision be the beginning of the end of Duolingo?

Duolingo made a few different updates as part of a series, the latest being the April 2019 update. These updates added a lot of content to the trees of Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian. They of course did not give us any new trees such as Duolingo Finnish, Duolingo Icelandic, but they have very recently given us Duolingo Arabic. I very much doubt it is as good as studying Arabic on Busuu, but I'll soon see when I do a review of the Duolingo Arabic course. They have not updated some of the smaller languages like Duolingo Swahili, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Welsh.
I am almost up to my Duolingo 1000 day streak, and when I get to that, I am strongly considering saying goodbye Duolingo. Although it has crowned itself as the Best Language Learning App 2019, I don't think anyone seriously believes that (even them).
