Days and Words | A card game changed how I think about language learning @daysandwords | Uploaded June 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
It might seem like a simple card game but Language Guardians 3 from Language Card Games is a lot harder than Duolingo or any other language learning app.

The native speaker tutoring shown in my videos is through iTalki. You can get $10 credit applied to your account when you make your first purchase, or you can just check it out for free using this link, which also helps me out by allowing me to take more language lessons:

A clarification of my thoughts around Duolingo. It's a common misconception that I don't like Duolingo. I actually do quite like Duolingo, except that I think it's massively overrated and that a lot of it is geared towards making my you do more Duolingo, not helping you to learn a language. Depending on what language you're learning, Duolingo can be a great option to get started.
