Duke Energy retired the older Cliffside Steam Station (coal units 1-4) at Rogers Energy Complex and have been working since 2011 to decommission and demolish those units. After more than a year of planning and preparation, the powerhouse building of the retired coal-fired plant was imploded on October 6th, 2015 by DH Griffin Wrecking Company and this is the aerial video showing the event.
