We used to think ducted RV A/C systems were the best option… but after 10+ years on the road and some detailed testing, I’m not so sure anymore.
In this video, I break down how much cooling is actually lost in a ducted RV air conditioner system—and the results were way more extreme than I expected. I used a thermal camera, a hot wire anemometer, and an inspection scope to measure airflow, temps, and duct leaks, and found some big issues.
