Check out these trailer tires from our tow dolly—those little wires sticking out? Yeah, that’s the steel belt breaking through.
Radial tires have steel belts to keep their shape under speed and load, but in this case, the belts are failing without any overloading or overspeeding. Bad batch? Maybe. But both tires doing this? Not good.
The only fix: Replace them ASAP.
This is why regular walkarounds of your RV or trailer are so important. We caught this before it became a roadside disaster—always better to fix issues while the wheels are still rolling! 🛞💥
