In this video, I do a short deep dive about making multiple subs work well together by ducking one against the other. To pull this off well, it's easiest to use a spectral ducking tool such as smart:comp 2 or DSEQ. (In this video, I use smart:comp 2).
Note 1: I don't really show *how* to set up smart:comp 2 for spectral ducking in this video. I do have a short unlisted video where I walk through the process and talk about settings I tend to use that you can watch separately here: youtu.be/NA_2h780QWM
Note 2: This video isn't strictly one of the "Mixing Loud with CTZ" episodes, because it's of general interest to anyone producing sub-heavy bass music. But I am including this in the playlist for that series because the subject matter is also very related to the CTZ strategy.
