Stop-Motion Transformation of DreamStar Toys DST01-002 Highdive. I wish the rudder wasn’t so small. Otherwise a decent figure. Also the toes extend a bit in robot mode, but I only realized that at the very end. Also, I know the wing tips are “supposed” to flip over for shin mode, but I like them the way I put them because it looks a bit more like a calf that way. Oh, and also there are flaps on the back of his thighs that are supposed to flip down for shin mode - no idea what they really accomplish. And there are tabs in the nose of the jet that can flip out, but without the actual feet it’s hard to decide how those are supposed to go.

Production Note: I didn’t quite hit the true primordial because it was easier to manage the figure in the clamp if the nose of the jet stayed intact. You can skip a few steps if you are going between robot mode and shin mode if you just leave the front of the jet separated.

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
