There's been some new discoveries found recently!
I recently found that you can run off to the right, and stand on top of a wall while Out of Bounds, and even noticed that you can kill the skeleton from above. And then beponeko found that you can actually hit the 3rd checkpoint from underneath the rotation puzzle, so we can skip that part altogether!
Next, I found that you were technically capable of walking on the walls while OoB to then go to the key room early, and basically lets you skip walking in a massive circle.
I was then capable of finding a setup to do the walk fairly consistent, and as of right now, I can get it 1/5 of the time. Though, I admittedly did the trick slightly wrong, because I was meant to land in the room with the key, and not behind the skeleton, but that's fine.
Along with an easier button pattern found by liangjiale123, the first segment of the game can be done in under 4 minutes (if played a little bit more optimally)!
Other than the first segment going through changes (and likely more, soon), the 2nd and 3rd area are fairly the same, with the only 'significant' change being that you want to walk AWAY from the ending area after killing the Genderuwo. I'm not sure why, but it's somehow just faster to do it this way. Though, I did once have a run where I instantly teleported after killing the Genderuwo, so things will definitely change when that becomes understood.
So now the question is: Will this stuff be used in full game runs?
The first OoB that allows us to skip the rotation puzzle: YES! It's extremely easy to pull off, and saves ~20+ seconds or so.
Worst case scenario, I've accidentally fell back in-bounds, and was able to complete the rotation puzzle, and move on
This outcome is a little bit slower than the OG OoB, but it's still not a huge run killer.
The seconds OoB to get to the key room early: Likely, no? It's very hard to just straight up navigate blindly in the dark, while having very few to no legitimate visual ques.
The visual que setup at the start is a problem on its own, since the 'safe setup' is fairly slow, and makes the time save quite small. And the 'fast setup' is somewhat difficult to properly align.
Even after the first setup, we have to navigate on the walls, with the only way of knowing if we are close to falling off the wall is if Lindas height changes (which is still hard to really be sure of, since everything is invisible).
Though, it is still technically possible to fall back in-bounds, it'd still be somewhat unoptimal.
And if you do end up falling into the void, you'd have to do a reset and go all the way back to Siskas house. This will end up costing you ~30 seconds to get back OoB, kill the skeleton, and get back in-bounds inside the room with the stand for the stones (+ the time loss for however long it took you until you fell into the void). Altogether, it has too many chances to lose more time than what you are able to gain.
The second OoB also probably only saves around 5-10 seconds, depending on how quick you can do it.
Considering the WR takes around 1 hour and 1 minute to get to Act 6, I'd argue that it's not worth killing your run when you're both, very far into the run, and near the end of the run.

For those who may not know what a TAS is, T.A.S. (Tool Assisted Speedrun/Superplay) is the process of doing a speedrun, while using tools to manipulate many factors of a game, in order to create a theoretical perfect speedrun.
The term tools can often refer to many aspects, such as using mods that manipulate luck factors, speed, savestates, or fully custom tools that give you internal information.
More specifically to this video, this run uses an auto player mod made by the NSO modder, Frostworth.
This auto player basically runs off of code that attempts to do every action as soon as it is capable of doing so, making for the most optimal time for everything.
For more information on TASes, most people like to refer to Bismuths video on explaining TASes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ietk1-Wb7oY
All tools used were made by Frostworth. Please check out all of their awesome NSO mods!

I had to turn my WiFi off for 15 minutes :(
Btw, sorry for the timer not being used. Normally, we use an auto splitter that can start and stop the timer automatically. Unfortunately, it connects to Bepinex, which does a weird thing with connecting to the internet. I only noticed about 4-5 minutes in, and I just dealt with it, just in case I had a good run.
I also did this run with the EffectFix mod, made by Frostworth (who also made the auto splitter, previously mentioned). Newer updates break the effects in this game, so I used this mod to make the ending look nicer. It does make the game a little bit slower, but I thought it was worth it, for the sake of entertainment.
You can download the EffectFix here, along with some other fixes: https://github.com/amazeedaizee/NeedyGirlPatches

![Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread | Secret Ending Speedrun [23 Seconds IGT]
As of posting this video, this is day 1 of Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread being released! Im happy to get a time of 23 seconds on the secret ending.
For those who dont know (spoilers), at the end of the game, it is realized that the bread, that Gura was on a quest for, was under the couch the whole time. With this knowledge, you can actually just move the couch and get said bread from the start of the game.
If youre not satisfied with this run, feel free to watch my full game any% run (which also isnt satisfying, since I died a lot): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kJByTY9vIg
In this run, you can also read my thoughts on the game.
