Drake has officially filed a defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group for "Not Like Us". According to the rapper, his longtime label—run by CEO Lucian Grainge—prioritized "corporate greed" and subjected him to physical harm. He alleges that Kendrick Lamar's diss led people to think he was a "pedophile" (a claim that he denies) and incited violence against him and his family, including the shooting incident of his security guard in Toronto in May 2024.

Drake also alleges the song is antisemitic, Kendrick's upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance was orchestrated by the label and that bots and streamers were turned against him. The rapper seems to name everyone...but Kendrick Lamar in the suit.
