Once you've made it to the Southern Continent, you can skip Maella Abbey and Angelo for now and go straight to Swordsman's Labyrinth to fight Trap Box. It's a bit harder without Angelo so I'd recommend being at least Level 20-21.
Strategy:
Make sure all your characters HP stays above 90 or else his Desperate Attack can kill them. This fight can be tricky since he can Sleep or Confuse your party members. Use Tingle should Yangus and Jessica get hit by it. The best strategy here is to Psyche up to 50 with Jessica and use Twin Dragon Lash if you can avoid Snooze and Fuddle. Alternately you can Psyche up to 50 with Hero and Yangus, have Jessica Oomph on them and occassionally heal with Strong Medicines.
