Empyrea hits really hard and has very high defense, plus she uses Wave of Ice a ton and can blind your party. Your best strategy for this fight is to forgo normal and tensioned attacks and just use Hero's Lightning Thrust and Yangus' Executioner to get Critical hits with those abilities while having Jessica and Angelo are healing and reviving duty. Empyrea doesn't have too much HP so 8 or 9 successful hits should be enough.
