Today I'm trying some sunfired foods by Dr Aris LaTham at Ital Food Fest in Jamaica! Although ackee is a beloved food on the island, I have NEVER heard of anyone eating it raw...Ackee can actually be poisonous if it has not opened properly on its own before being picked, so people are very cautious with this fruit. Big up to Dr LaTham and @chefalip . Have you tried RAW ackee??
