At 'DPops Gets Wired' in Battell Chapel on February 19th, 2016

Dear Friends and Family,

Good evening, and welcome to the Davenport Pops Orchestra’s February concert! As Co-Presidents of the orchestra, we thank you for coming and hope you enjoy “DPops Gets Wired.” Tonight’s concert is our second to be entirely student-arranged. We hope you’re ready to relive some of the most epic moments of inter- galactic battles, relax with some of the hottest dance tracks in recent years, and get to know some of cinema’s most well-loved robots.

Founded by a group of undergraduates in 2005, the Davenport Pops Orchestra (a ectionately known as DPops) brings together Yale musicians who love playing popular music. As Yale’s premier pops orchestra, we specialize in lm scores, Broadway hits, popular classical works, hip-hop charts, and more. Our repertoire ranges from original film scores to dynamic student arrangements. We strive to present a diverse repertoire that o ers something for every audience member.
