Double Dragon was one of my earliest arcade game obsessions. I remember putting untold amounts of quarters into both it and Double Dragon II whenever I happened to see it pop up, pre-1990. Also, like a lot of people my age, I spent a good amount of time with their appearances on the NES, and while those were fun, they were clearly a different experience.
I never got to play the Master System version back in the day, so playing the game this week was a brand new experience, and I've got to say, this is one of the week's when I really enjoy getting to work on this channel.
