In celebration of all things MS DOS there is the campaign under the moniker Doscember where a lot of youtubers presents some of their more nostalgic moments from the Dos area of computing. I posted my first video last year in December, and my way of celebrating this is by launching an attempt to make a full 24-episode Christmas or Advent calendar, at this time this will be a long stretch as I have only filmed the first seven episodes, and December is quite the busy period at work, and I will also go away on holidays sometime before the 24’th. My plan is to present a new system for you each day, but some videos might be so long that they will span two days on one system. IBM has not made a deep inpact on the PC business since the launch of the first AT. This was about to change as they lounced the Thinkpad range of computers. When it comes to reliability and sturdiness nothing has ever beat the long line of thinkpads that haw been lounced over the last 30 years since the first was lounced in 1992, and up til today.
