The Ancient Gods Part One | Part 2: The Blood Swamps
We were able to recover the body of the Seraphim.
We return back to the ARC Resistance base and they're able to transfer Samuel Hyde's conscious into the Seraphim body. Turns out that it reveals that Hyde and the Seraphim were one and the same. Our next stop has us heading to The Blood Swamps. Because the Seraphim reveals that The Father's life sphere is atop the Ingmore's Sanctum. Guess this means we got work to do.
Our objective is to destroy The Father's Life Sphere. You know we ain't giving that up to the Seraphim. This has us completing the Trial of Maligog and there are three of these. Expect to spend a while taking down demons while trying to survive. Take it for me, I know. Why else do you think this video is so long?
Once you complete 2 of the trials, you have one more test. Essentially you got to shoot the eye to damage and stun it. Once it's stunned, then you punch the eye into the shield. Once you do that a few times, the trial is over. It's then we are taken atop Ingmore's Sanctum. We obtain the Father's Soul Sphere. But we know better. We know that if this were to happen, things would go from bad to worse. That and the Seraphim still has that smug attitude. So instead, the Doom Slayer destroys it. This scars the Seraphim as he screams in agony. Seems Doom Slayer has a better plan in mind.
He takes the Dark Lord's life sphere. What for? So that he can bring him in as a physical form. Next part completes things as we head to The Holt.
