This isn’t the most exciting video I’ve ever made, but I thought it might be fun to compare what domestic first class is like in Australia vs the US.
This is footage from QANTAS flight number 470, which is a 737-800 service between Melbourne (MEL) and Sydney (SYD). This particular aircraft (VH-VXQ) was a bit special though, as it just so happened to the “Retro Roo II” - a commemorative livery paying tribute to the 1960’s QANTAS brand colors.
I had seat 1A on this short 1 hour flight, and believe it or not, the food was pretty good.
