in the prior video (part1) we saw how to load and use the trees that are included with Howler (or PD Artist) under the Geometry subfolder. These are in OBJ files. Now it's time to explore some OBJ files from other sources. Let's take a look at some from the 3D models collections at NASA.
They don't all work yet. As of this recording in early February 2023 we still have some limitations of what type of geometry and data structure we can import. In some cases the data laods fine but you need to zoom out or move and look around to see it. In other cases some polygons are not showing, or shading/coloring is missed. There's always something.
