Today we’re heading to the Isle of Raasay to explore Raasay Na Sia – now rebranded as The DÒR-AM (The Dràam).

This release was originally part of the Na Sia (“The Six”) cask exploration series, showcasing Raasay’s unique approach to blending six different cask types to shape flavour: peated and unpeated spirit matured in chinkapin virgin oak, rye cask, and Bordeaux red wine casks.

I compare the Na-Sia to a single cask from John's in Cornwall. This single cask is made from unpeated spirit and matured in an ex-Jack Daniel's cask.

Let's see how these two whiskies compare and which type of Raasay I prefer.
