The Improved Whiskey Cocktail, is it an Old Fashioned variation? Yes and no. It's a cocktail style that was developed from the O.F more so. And it doesn't necessarily have to be whiskey, switch it up for any spirit! Have fun with this cocktail!
The Improved Whiskey Cocktail
2-3 dashes of Absinthe (Please adjust to what kind of dasher you’re using!)
4 dashes Peychaud's Bitters (see absinthe)
6 dashes Angostura Bitters (see absinthe)
1/4 (7.5ml) Simple Syrup
1/4 oz (7.5ml) Maraschino Liqueur
2 oz (60ml) Whiskey (OF YOUR CHOICE!)
Give this a QUICK and short stir, serve over ice and garnish with a lemon twist. Varsegoooood!
