🌷Mothers hold an immense rank in Islam. The Prophet ﷺ even said jannah is beneath their feet.

Surah Luqman verse 31:14 demonstrates how our mothers endure “hardship after hardship.” This includes the difficulties of childbearing, and the numerous challenges many face after the pain of child birth such as postpartum depression, anxiety, isolation, and hormonal changes.

These are often struggles that many new mothers face alone and it can take an immense toll on their sense of self and how they engage with the world.

Have mercy on your mothers, forgive them, and make du’a for them this Friday, on a blessed day where good deeds are multiplied and prayers are accepted.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah ﷻ for something but He will give it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr."

Jumu’ah Mubarakah 🤲
