As requested, we watch @TheLazyPeon's latest video (youtube.com/watch?v=46WHvZ_1qT0) that finally speaks on the Ashes of Creation's and Intrepid Studios' abrupt collapse.
In my opinion, as someone who helped bring to light a lot of the information and allegations against Steven Sharif, the former CEO of Intrepid, I do not think it's reasonable to have expected a YouTuber of all people to predict or know all of the bizarre details.
I think when people are laying blame for anything in this sordid affair, the blame should be laid at the feet of those who knew everything, were complicit and were in a position to have done anything about it.
Emotions are still running high and I have seen a surprising amount of people get mad at LazyPeon for being hyped about a potential MMO - who wasn't though? The difference is that he had an audience to share things he was excited about but that's where it stops. Obviously he feels very bad about the whole thing and I cannot imagine how terrible people with any kind of morality would feel about dragging others into this mess.
