With ISG activated, cutscenes cannot activate a normal fadeout (one that doesn't have usual DK logo). Therefore the camera switches to your kong who has been placed at the start of Hideout Helm. You can't move, though, because the controls are disabled except for the A button, which will take you to back to mystery menu as usual.
