DJI has done it! With the new firmware update v01.01.05.20 for the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, they’ve addressed all the issues that users were talking about. Now, you can set the bitrate to standard or high, which has made the image quality outstanding—details are sharp, and colors are clearer than ever before. After testing, it’s hard to see any other action cameras competing with the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro!
In this video, I put the camera to the test. First, I compared it with the DJI Osmo Action 4 using the old firmware in a real-world scenario—mounted on the outside of a moving car to really see the level of detail. Then, in part 2, I updated to the latest firmware v01.01.05.20 and tested the Osmo Action 5 Pro again. The difference is HUGE! I also did side-by-side comparisons with the previous test, and I’m genuinely impressed with how much the new firmware has improved the camera. Check out the footage and see for yourself!
