DIY Whelen Tent/Lean To From a Harbor Freight Canvas Tarp

Very rough video I quickly shot while setting up my "Whelen" style tent. I made it out of a canvas tarp I bought at Harbor Freight. It's not waterproof, and doesn't look all that great, but I'm just learning how to sew. I will spray it with some kind of waterproofing stuff later. I've always been intrigued by the "old style camping" and I think this tent will be just fine for an occasional overnighter, or just for getting out of the sun on a hot day.
