This quick and easy project uses a cheap clipboard as the base, and I'm sure the end result would be a useful addition to any knitter's inventory :)
Magnetic sheet and Neodymium magnets keep the 'line keeper' in place on the front of your knitting pattern or chart, so you can keep track of which line you are on...and I also add a strip of whiteboard so you can write erasable notes to yourself too.
